Little goals, big plans (eventually)

Things work better for me when I write down goals, although I have failed miserably the last few times I’ve done this. This time, though, my approach is a bit broader in nature, so maybe it’ll stick. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’ve been jotting down a few things that have come to mind that I’d like to do before the end of May, so I’m just going to put them out there in no particular order and then check back in occasionally to see where I am.

This also helps paint the picture of how crappy things have gotten for me with running and fitness lately.

🔲 Start a run before 7 a.m.

🔲 Start and finish a run before 7 a.m. (Maybe these can both happen at the same time?)

🔲 Get my long run back to 5 miles

🔲 Lift weights twice a week in May

🔲 Lose 5 pounds

🔲 Write 3 blog entries

These things are quite simple, but based on where I am, they’re the things I need to do to take a bigger step in June to start training for the Richmond Marathon.
