During my vacation to the Outer Banks, I busted out a notebook by the ocean one day and started writing. I’ve always wanted to get into writing haikus, but I haven’t let my brain tap into that creativity in a long time.
I don’t know whether these are any good or not, but after making a few minor tweaks, I thought I’d share them here.
Waves crash on the shore.
The ocean ignores its roar.
Morning settles in.
Nature is a beast.
Loud, quiet, angry, peaceful.
Tide rolls in, again.
Sun burns the skin raw.
Everyone runs away.
Nature wins again.
Blue tents line the beach.
Red flags wave along the shore.
Orange sun beats down.
