January was a great month … so much better than so much of last year. Some highlights captured in a tweet since I didn’t blog much …
3 January accomplishments:
– lost 7 pounds
– increased max weight at the gym by 10-15% on most things

Back at the end of November, I committed to “starting over” with running and so many other things.
After nearly two months with no running, I really had no other options. I “started over” in December with a run of a tenth of a mile on Dec. 1 and gradually increased that to a little more than 3 miles several times in January. I also saw a nice return to a few snowy runs …

And now for February? It’s time to press down the gas pedal and keep going.
What has happened in the past two month still doesn’t feel like much, and it’s time to just keep marching forward in this journey.
