Last week’s 14-mile run was nearly perfect; today I was scaling things back a bit mileage wise, but my morning 10 miler has left me dragging this afternoon.
It wasn’t really that bad of a run, but any time I felt like I was getting a groove, I’d get knocked around by a 30 mph gust. To add to that, there were snow flurries.
All this is after a day of record highs and a tornado watch for about 4 hours.
If this past week’s extremely wacky weather hasn’t prepared me for the Shamrock Half, I don’t know what will.
