I had a blog post typed up yesterday about not running the Blue Ridge Marathon and was ready to hit PUBLISH, and then I saw this …

After opting out of this year’s marathon, it turns out I would’ve had a DNF because of storms. 

That gives me such a weird feeling, and I’m not even sure how I feel about that. 

But I am now signed up for the 2018 Blue Ridge Marathon … so I guess the statement “there’s always next year” really is true right now.
