You hear the word “disaster” a lot these days being used completely out of context, but I’m hear to tell you that this month truly has been a disaster.
At least with my running.
This month I had some amazing goals that were going to mean even bigger things for March and April … it was going to be a big, big win for me.
But it’s been a total mess as I’ve gotten sick (again), my kids have gotten sick, and an allergy season starting a month and a half early completely derailed me.
So those three goals I set a few weeks ago? Yeah … they’re not going to happen. I won’t even do a month in a review in a couple of days because it was so, so bad of a month.
I’m also not going to be able to run the Blue Ridge Marathon as I had planned. At this point, I’m not sure if I can even do the half, but I’m not making that decision yet.
I am, though, finally feeling better. There’s no hope in anything good coming out of February, but I do feel confident enough for March to set some goals to make the rest of my running this spring great again.
