No thoughts?

Usually on race week, my mind is racing with thoughts. Not this time around though. Maybe it’s because I took pressure off myself a long time ago to not even think about the Shamrock Half as any sort of make-or-break event; I didn’t get caught up in PR madness; I didn’t kick myself for not having more long runsI just let myself be me for the past few months, and it’s been pretty damn liberating. Remember when I swore I wouldn’t even do this race again this year? Now I couldn’t be happier that I’ve trained for it.
It’s not that I don’t care how this weekend goes — I do — but the rest of my life doesn’t depend on it.

Funny how having kids will put that in perspective for a person.

Hi David,Wow what an amazing race report to read. It seems as though it went just right for you!!

    Your son is adorable!

And in answer to your question:
No my toe does not hurt at all when I run on it. The only time it hurts is if I touch the exact area where it is broken OR I move it back and forth very HARD. If the toe moves on its own back and forth NO PAIN. If i use my hand to move it back and forth and push down on it then it hurts BUT not horrible pain.

So yes I think I can indeed run on it.

Good luck in your upcoming 10K!!!!
