Time just keeps on ticking

Seems like only yesterday I was writing about how there were 100 days until the Richmond Marathon. Now that countdown says 80 days and numerous hours to go. It seems like only yesterday I signed up for this thing. Now it’s time to start thinking about my goals beyond just finishing the race and thinking about how to fit in my long runs as I get a new job and move to a new city. I have this feeling that time will continue to fly by …

Good luck! You are doing great!I know it is hard to balance travel/moving/etc. with training, but keep up the gret work… you are on your way to a good marathon experience. You are now 79 days away from being a part of the .1 of 1% club. We are very glad to welcome you!

That first marathon was daunting for me, in a different way. I stupidly signed up for it three days before the event, didn't own shoes and hadn't done any training. I went into it blind. I didn't know what to do.Race day came and with 4,000 runners around me it was a moving experience. Granted, I was hirting pretty bad by the time I got there, but it was a moving experience.Good luck on your training. It sounds like you are on pace to do great.
