Last week was miserable. This week was tremendously better.
At least I thought so. My watch knocked me back to reality, but I don’t really care.
I felt better. I fueled better. I had more fun.
And I can’t really complain about temperatures being in the low 60s either.
Today’s 18-miler will easily be forgotten — nothing bad, nothing great. It was kind of what I needed as I head into a recovery week and ease back the mileage a bit this week.
With 2 months to go to the Richmond Marathon, I’m feeling better than I ever have at this point in my training. I couldn’t ask for anything different.
